While designing Pizza Express in Powai, we had to bear in mind that the place required a young, casual feel to it and also represent the heritage and uniqueness of the area it is in. Befittingly, Powai Lake was chosen as an inspiration for the neighborhood because of the beautiful oasis that it provides in the middle of a chaotic area. Lighting was used in conjunction with design to bring out interesting elements.
